Also, from the site you can link to NPCA’s advocacy page and contact your congressional delegation to ask for their support for Peace Corps. The first in person Peace Corps Connect Conference will take place in Washington DC July 19-21 culminating with a day of advocacy on the hill.
It is with a heavy heart that I have followed the political news from Washington and the Middle East. First the travel bans and now the strikes on Iran by Israel and the retaliation by Iran. It is essential that we stand by our friends and share verified information. Please watch for Paul Barker’s posts on our Facebook page. I have also found NIAC’s Iran Unfiltered and BBC Verify to be reliable sources. We can also contact our representatives in Washington and urge that the US actively work to bring a halt to the hostilities.
